A new kind of massage experience has been introduced at Pampered Spirit this season.
For years, travel has been a source of inspiration for our owner, Brianna Donan. From the warm coastal rhythms of Latin America to the still, pine-scented air of Scandinavia, each destination left a mark. Now, those experiences have been carefully translated into a series of travel-inspired massage treatments. They are offered exclusively at our Point Pleasant spa.
This is not a standard spa menu. Each offering has been curated with intention. Products have been handpicked. Techniques have been matched to their cultural roots. Music has been selected to carry the senses somewhere far from the everyday. Together, it creates our Global Spa Collection.
The collection is available in two seasonal releases throughout 2026, with spring launching April 1st and summer arriving June 15th.
Spring Destinations: Latin America and Thailand/Asia
Two destinations are featured in the spring release. Each one has been built around a distinct sensory experience. Products used in these sessions are sourced with care and are available for purchase after your appointment.
Every session in the Global Spa Collection includes a complimentary salt room session. A light snack and tea are also offered after your treatment. These details were added to complete the ritual and extend the sense of escape beyond the massage table.
Latin America: Palo Santo, Deep Tissue, and Coastal Warmth
This treatment is grounded in the earthy, sacred scent of Palo Santo. It has been used in South American wellness traditions for centuries. Deep tissue techniques are applied throughout the session. Muscle tension is released with purposeful, steady pressure.
A hand and foot treatment is included in this experience. Spanish-inspired music drifts through the room, drawing the mind toward sun-warmed shores. Those who carry stress in their muscles and crave a sense of warmth will find this session particularly restorative.
Thailand/Asia: Jasmine, Thai Stretching, and Quiet Presence
Jasmine has long been associated with calm, clarity, and ceremony across Southeast Asia. It forms the foundation of this treatment. Thai-style stretching techniques are woven throughout the session. Flexibility is encouraged through slow, assisted movement.
The music selected for this treatment is inspired by ancient yoga practices. A sense of deep stillness is created from start to finish. Those who carry tension in their joints or seek a meditative experience will benefit most from this offering.
Summer Destinations: Italy/Europe and Iceland/Scandinavia
Two more destinations are introduced with the summer release on June 15th, 2026. These sessions continue the Global Spa Collection with a different kind of sensory contrast. One is soft and romantic. The other is clean and elemental.
Italy/Europe: Rose, Lemon, and the Art of Slow Relaxation
Rose and lemon-infused oils are the heart of this experience. They have been selected for their ability to lift the mood while softening the senses. A deep relaxation massage is delivered with long, unhurried strokes. The body is guided into a state of complete ease.
Italian countryside music plays softly in the background. It evokes the kind of afternoon that stretches on without urgency. This session is well suited for couples. Partners are welcomed to book together for a shared retreat that feels genuinely romantic.
Iceland/Scandinavia: Cedar, Pine, and Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
This treatment draws from the wellness traditions of northern Europe, where simplicity and nature are at the core of self-care. Cedar and pine scented products fill the room with a clean, grounding atmosphere. A Himalayan salt stone massage is performed throughout the session, complementing the broader wellness focus of our Point Pleasant wellness center.
Heated salt stones are used to deliver warmth deep into the muscles. Tension is released in a way that feels both elemental and thorough. Scandinavian-inspired music accompanies the experience, quiet and unhurried.
What Makes This Collection Different From Our Standard Services
These treatments have been designed for clients who want something beyond a typical massage appointment. The sensory environment is considered from every angle. Scent, touch, sound, and setting have all been brought into alignment.
Availability is limited to the Point Pleasant spa location. Sessions are subject to product availability, as each product in the collection has been individually sourced. The menu will be updated each season, with new destinations introduced in the fall.
Products used during your session are available for purchase at the end of your appointment. Many clients choose to take home a piece of the experience. It is one way the ritual is allowed to continue after you leave.
Serving Ocean County, Monmouth County, and All of New Jersey
Pampered Spirit has served clients across Ocean and Monmouth County since 2007. The Point Pleasant spa is centrally located for residents of Brick, Wall Township, Toms River, Belmar, and the surrounding shore communities.
Mobile massage services are offered throughout all of New Jersey. For those who cannot make it to the spa, in-home massage and corporate chair massage remain available year-round as part of our wider menu of wellness and spa services.
The Global Spa Collection, however, is a studio-only experience. It was designed to be fully immersive. That immersion is only possible within the carefully prepared environment of our Point Pleasant location.
